Modern Office Scene

We are Purple Koru.
We do the work.

Senior operators, strategists, and builders — not advisors on the sidelines.

When experience meets execution

We are not a firm of junior MBAs with ideas.

We are operators who build — and know what it takes to run.

Purple Koru is built for leaders who don’t need more advice — they need decisions turned into outcomes.

We are a strategic firm led by senior executives who have built companies, scaled organizations, and operated inside complex environments. We’ve sat in boardrooms and in the trenches. We’ve owned P&Ls, rebuilt teams, launched products, and navigated moments where the right answer wasn’t obvious — but the consequences were real.

What makes Purple Koru different is not just our experience. It’s how we show up.

We don’t hand over frameworks and disappear. We don’t stop at recommendations. We roll up our sleeves, embed with your team, and stay accountable until the work is done — and done right.

That combination of strategic judgment, tactical execution, and technical fluency is rare. It’s also why our clients trust us with their hardest decisions.

That same hands-on approach is what led to the creation of Compare IQ.

Compare IQ wasn’t born from a theory or a pitch deck. It was built from years of real client work — where executives needed clear, defensible answers before committing to high-stakes decisions. We turned the tools, models, and judgment we used ourselves into a platform others could rely on.

Strategic judgment. Hands-on execution.
That’s Purple Koru.

Meet the team behind the work.

Our name reflects how we think about growth, change, and momentum.

What is a Purple Koru?

Purple

A koru is traditionally green. We chose purple deliberately.

Purple represents balance — between analysis and intuition, discipline and creativity, strategy and execution. It reflects how we operate in environments where decisions are complex, stakes are high, and simple answers don’t exist.

Purple Koru lives in that space between opposing forces — where clarity is earned, not assumed, and where progress requires both rigor and judgment.

Koru

The koru is a Māori symbol representing new growth, momentum, and return to core purpose.

Its spiral shape reflects forward movement guided by experience — growth that builds on what came before rather than starting from theory. The inner coil represents grounding: returning to first principles as conditions change.

For Purple Koru, the koru captures how real transformation happens — not in straight lines, but through informed movement, recalibration, and decisive action.

Koru - The Silver Fern

Purple Koru represents growth with judgment — and momentum with intention.
