Simon Branch-Evans
Transformation Executive
Simon is a senior executive leader with a proven track record of strategically and tactically executing large-scale organizational and technology transformations. His career spans complex, high-pressure environments where outcomes matter — including major turnarounds, operational restructurings, and enterprise-wide change programs.
He has led the setup and operation of a global, multi-client Transformation Practice and has held executive responsibility for a regional IT services delivery organization comprising more than 30,000 staff. In these roles, Simon consistently brought structure, accountability, and execution discipline to environments facing scale, complexity, and performance pressure.
During his more than 10-year tenure at Hewlett-Packard, Simon led several of the company’s most significant international accounts, including Rolls-Royce, Sabre, the UK Department for Work and Pensions, and the Child Support Agency. He was also responsible for HP’s IT services operations and project delivery across EMEA, overseeing large, distributed teams and mission-critical services.
In one such role, Simon drove a comprehensive operational improvement program that reduced costs while simultaneously improving service quality — achieving a 20% reduction in Severity 1 incidents and a 50% reduction in service penalties. These outcomes reflect his ability to balance financial discipline with operational resilience, even at scale.
Simon continues to apply this experience to complex transformation challenges today, including initiatives focused on transitioning large systems and organizations toward zero-emissions operations.
At Purple Koru, Simon brings deep credibility in large-scale execution, operational restructuring, and transformation leadership. His experience strengthens the firm’s ability to engage confidently in the most complex environments — and directly informs Purple Koru’s disciplined, execution-led approach to transformation.
Simon is based in Dallas, Texas.
